UPDATE: Bam Adebayo is available for Game 1.

On Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat will be at Madison Square Garden to face off with the New York Knicks for Game 1 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, starting center Bam Adebayo is on the injury report.

However, the former Kentucky star is listed as probable, so he should be in the starting lineup.

Underdog NBA: "Bam Adebayo (hamstring) probable for Sunday."

Adebayo is coming off another impressive regular season with averages of 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field.

The Heat are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, but they have one of the best rosters in the league and have made the Conference Finals two times in the previous three seasons.

They upset the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round (who were the first seed) in just five games.

In Game 5, Adebayo had a triple-double putting up 20 points, ten rebounds, ten assists, two steals and one block in 40 minutes of playing time.

As for the Knicks, they are the fifth seed and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (also in five games).

They are in the playoffs for the second time in three seasons, but this was their first time winning a playoff series since 2013.

During the regular season, the Heat went just 1-3 in their four matchups with the Knicks.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Philadelphia 76ers or the Boston Celtics.
