Bam Adebayo's Injury Status For Pacers-Heat Game

Bam Adebayo has been upgraded to available for Thursday's game.

UPDATE: Bam Adebayo got injured during the game and will not return. 

On Thursday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Indiana Pacers in Florida.  

For the game, they will have one of their best players in the starting lineup, as Bam Adebayo has been upgraded to available.  

Via Ira Winderman of The Sun Sentinel: "The Heat have upgraded Haywood Highsmith to available for tonight vs. Pacers. He missed Tuesday vs. Bucks with back contusion sustained Saturday in Brooklyn. Bam Adebayo (hip), Duncan Robinson (thumb) also now listed as available. Jimmy Butler (ankle) still questionable."

Adebayo has played in 15 games so far this season and is averaging 23.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 52.9% from the field. 

The Heat are 10-8 in their first 18 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and most recently lost to the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 131-124.  

In 42 minutes of playing time, Adebayo had 31 points, ten rebounds, five assists and two blocks while shooting 13/27 from the field. 

The Pacers and Heat will face off (again) in Florida on Saturday. 

As for the Pacers, they are 9-7 in their first 16 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the east. 

They are 6-4 over their previous ten games and most recently lost to the Portland Trail Blazers (at home) by a score of 114-110.  

On the road, the Pacers are 3-2 in five games, while the Heat are 4-2 in six games at home.
