BREAKING: Andrew Wiggins' Injury Status For Clippers-Warriors Game

Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors will host the Los Angeles Clippers at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

For the game, the Warriors will be without one of their best players, as Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out. 

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Andrew Wiggins is out tonight against the Clippers. Right finger soreness. So the Warriors will be without Wiggins, Chris Paul and Gary Payton II."

Wiggins has played in all 18 games so far this season and is averaging 12.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 26.7% from the three-point range. 

The Warriors are 8-10 in their first 18 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 2-8 over their previous ten games and most recently lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 124-123. 

In 36 minutes of playing time, Wiggins had 29 points, ten rebounds and three assists while shooting 11/18 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range. 

At home, the Warriors have gone 3-6 in the nine games they have hosted at the Chase Center. 

As for the Clippers, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with an 8-9 record in their first 17 games. 

They are 5-5 over their previous ten games and most recently beat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 131-117 (on Wednesday). 

On Saturday, the Clippers and Warriors will face off (again) in Los Angeles, California.
