BREAKING: LeBron James' Final Injury Status For Lakers-Timberwolves Game

LeBron James is available for Friday's game.

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are facing off with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup, as LeBron James has been upgraded to available.

Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (foot) will play Friday."

The four-time NBA Champion had missed 13 games in a row with a foot injury before returning and playing in each of the last two games.

He has outstanding averages of 29.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest in 49 games while shooting 50.2% from the field.

At 38, James still is among the ten best players in the league.

Right now, the Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 38-38 record in 76 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 17-20 in the 37 games they have played on the road.

In 2020, James led the Lakers to the NBA Championship, but they have also missed the playoffs in two out of the last four seasons.

As for the Timberwolves, they are 39-38 in 77 games, which has them tied with the New Orleans Pelicans for the seventh seed in the west.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 21-17 in the 38 games they have hosted on their home floor at the Target Center.

Last year, the Timberwolves made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season (when they still had Jimmy Butler on the roster).
