BREAKING: Luka Doncic's Final Injury Status For Mavs-Spurs Game

According to Marc Stein of The SteinLine, Luka Doncic is available for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in San Antonio to face off against the Spurs for their first game of the regular season.

For the game, they will have Luka Doncic available, as Marc Stein of The SteinLine reports that he will play.

Via Stein: "Dallas' Luka Dončić has been cleared to make his regular-season debut tonight in San Antonio, league sources tell @TheSteinLine."

Doncic is coming off another sensational year where he averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.6% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range in 66 regular season games.

He was the third pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and has spent his first five seasons in the league with the Mavs.

The 24-year-old has career averages of 27.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 33.8% from the three-point range in 330 regular season games.

Last year, the Mavs made a trade with the Brooklyn Nets to acquire Kyrie Irving, so the duo of Doncic and Irving is among the most talented in the NBA.

However, they finished the year with a 38-44 record and were the 11th seed in the Western Conference, so they missed the NBA playoffs just one season after making the Conference Finals.

As for the Spurs, they are coming off a year where they were the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-60 record (they missed the playoffs for the fourth straight season).
