BREAKING: Zach LaVine's Injury Status In Bulls-Celtics Game

Zach LaVine has been ruled out for the reminder of Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Chicago Bulls are in Boston facing off against the Celtics. 

During the game, Zach LaVine got injured, and he has now been ruled out for the remainder of the night. 

He finished the game with two points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 1/9 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range. 

Via K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago: "Zach LaVine is done for the night, per Bulls PR. Right foot soreness."

LaVine entered the game with averages of 22.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest while shooting 45.3% from the field and 34.4% from the three-point range in 17 games. 

That said, the Bulls are among the worst teams in the NBA have a 5-13 record in their first 18 games. 

They are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference and in the middle of a four-game losing streak. 

In their last game, the Bulls lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 119-108, and LaVine had 36 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal. 

Tuesday's game is the last of four-game return trip, and they will return home to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday at the United Center. 

LaVine is in his tenth season in the NBA (his seventh with the Bulls) and is a two-time All-Star. 

Over 572 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves (and Bulls), his career averages are 20.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range.
