UPDATE: Desmond Bane's Current Injury Status For Thunder-Grizzlies Game

Desmond Bane is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

UPDATE: Desmond Bane is available (h/t Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian).  

On Saturday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Tennessee.

For the game, the Grizzlies could have one of their best players back in the lineup, as Desmond Bane is listed as questionable on the injury report. 

The former TCU star has not played in a game since January 12. 

Via ESPN's Tim MacMahon on Friday: "Grizzlies SG Desmond Bane, who has been out since Jan. 12 with a sprained ankle, has been upgraded to questionable vs. thunder tomorrow. He scrimmaged with Memphis’ G League team to prep for his return earlier this week."

Bane had been in the middle of an outstanding season with averages of 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range in 37 games.  

Damichael Cole of Commercial Appeal reported (on Friday night) that Bane is likely to be available. 

The Grizzlies are currently the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 23-44 record in 67 games. 

They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Charlotte Hornets (at home) by a score of 110-98. 

Following their matchup with the Thunder, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Sacramento Kings in California. 

As for the Thunder, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 46-20 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Grizzlies, the Thunder will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host the Utah Jazz.
