UPDATE: Donovan Mitchell's Current Status For Magic-Cavs Game

Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

UPDATE: Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out (h/t Cayleigh Griffin of Bally Sports Cleveland).

On Thursday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Orlando Magic in Ohio. 

For the game, the Cavs could be without their best player, as All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report.  

Via Underdog NBA: "Donovan Mitchell (illness) listed questionable for Thursday."

Mitchell has played in 44 games this season and is averaging 28.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 47.3% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range. 

The Cavs are among the best teams in the NBA and are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-17 record in 53 games. 

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and coming off a 108-105 victory over the Chicago Bulls. 

In 39 minutes of playing time, Mitchell had 30 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals while shooting 8/21 from the field. 

Following the Magic, the Cavs will visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday evening in Pennsylvania. 

As for the Magic, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-25 record in 55 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently beat the New York Knicks by a score of 118-100. 

Paolo Banchero led the team with 36 points, six rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 15/20 from the field. 

Following the Cavs, the Magic will visit Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Saturday evening in Michigan.
