FINAL UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo's Injury Status For Heat-Bucks Game

Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the injury report for Friday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo has been upgraded to available.

UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo is now questionable.

On Friday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in Wisconsin.

For the game, they will likely be without their best player, as Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as doubtful due to a wrist injury.

Underdog NBA: "Giannis Antetokounmpo (wrist) listed doubtful for Friday."

The two-time MVP is in the middle of a sensational season with averages of 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists per contest in 47 games (while shooting 53.8% from the field).

In addition, the Bucks are one of the best teams in the NBA, with a 41-17 record in 58 games.

They are in the middle of a 12-game winning streak (the longest in the league), and only one game back of the Boston Celtics for the first seed.

At home, the Bucks have been tough to beat, going 24-5 in the 29 games they have hosted in Wisconsin.

Last season, they lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs, but in 2021 Antetokounmpo led them to the NBA Championship over the Phoenix Suns.

They will likely be one of the few genuine contenders in the league for the 2023 title.

As for the Heat, they are 32-27 in 59 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

Over the last ten games, they have gone 5-5, and they are in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

On the road, the Heat have struggled, with a 13-17 record in the 30 games they have played outside of Miami.
