The Hawks come into the night with a 38-38 record in 76 games, which has them tied with the Toronto Raptors for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 16-22 in the 38 games they have played on the road away from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

In each of the last two seasons, the Hawks have made the NBA Playoffs, and they went to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.

As for the Nets, they come into the matchup as the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot) in the Eastern Conference with a 41-35 record in 76 games.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and a solid 20-16 in the 36 games they have hosted on their home floor at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Last season, the Nets got swept by Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

However, they have a much different roster after trading away superstars Kevin Durant (to the Phoenix Suns) and Kyrie Irving (to the Dallas Mavericks) last month.
