Jaylen Brown's Final Injury Status For Celtics-Wizards Game

Jaylen Brown has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Boston Celtics will face off against Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C. 

For the game, the Celtics will be without one of their best players, as All-Star forward Jaylen Brown has been ruled out.

Brown is averaging 23.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.2% from the field and 35.4% from the three-point range in 60 games.

The Celtics enter the evening as the best team in the NBA with a 52-14 record in 66 games. 

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Celtics defeated the Phoenix Suns by a score of 127-112. 

Brown was fantastic and led the way with 37 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 14/23 from the field and 5/9 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

Following the Wizards, the Celtics will play their next game on Monday evening when they return home to host the Detroit Pistons. 

As for the Wizards, they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference (last place) with an 11-56 record in 67 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and have gone 2-8 over their last ten games.

Following the Celtics, the Wizards will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the Houston Rockets in Washington, D.C.
