UPDATE: Kevin Love's Injury Status For Celtics-Heat Game

Kevin Love is listed as probable on the injury report for Game 4.

UPDATE: Kevin Love has been upgraded to available.

On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Boston Celtics for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Heat have a 3-0 lead in the series, so a victory would eliminate the Celtics and advance them to the 2023 NBA Finals.

For Game 4, NBA Champion Kevin Love is listed on the injury report as probable due to a left leg injury.

Via The Heat on Monday: "INJURY UPDATE: Kevin Love has been diagnosed with a lower left leg muscle strain. Coach Spo says his status for tomorrow night’s Game 4 is probable."

Love signed with the Heat in the middle of the season after the Cleveland Cavaliers waived him.

The five-time NBA All-Star has tremendous experience (four appearances in the NBA Finals) and is still a reliable role player.

This year, Love averaged 8.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.

The Heat are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference but have one of the most talented rosters in the league and are in the Conference Finals for the third time in the previous four seasons.

In the first two rounds, they beat the Milwaukee Bucks (the first seed) and the New York Knicks (the fifth seed).

As for the Celtics, they are the second seed, so being down 0-3 has been a significant surprise.

Last year, they made the NBA Finals after beating the Heat in Game 7 of the Conference Finals.

The winner of the series will face off against the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Finals.
