Key Player Reportedly Ruled Out For Warriors-Kings Game

According to Frankie Cartoscelli of Sactown Sports 1140, Keegan Murray has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Sacramento Kings will host the Golden State Warriors in California. 

For the game, the Kings will remain without one of their best players, as Frankie Cartoscelli of Sactown Sports 1140 reports that Keegan Murray has been ruled out. 

Via Cartoscelli: "Keegan Murray will not play tonight vs. Golden State. per a league source."

Murray has played in 13 games so far this season and is averaging 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 39.0% from the field and 28.7% from the three-point range.

The Kings are 9-6 in their first 15 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 7-3 over their previous ten games and most recently beat the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 124-111 (Murray did not play in the game). 

Murray was the fourth pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is in his second season in the league (all with the Kings). 

Last season, he shot 45.3% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range. 

Following the Warriors, the Kings will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers. 

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the west with an 8-9 record in their first 17 games. 

They are 3-7 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 118-112 at the Chase Center on Friday in San Francisco.
