Kristaps Porzingis' Official Injury Status For Suns-Celtics Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Phoenix Suns in Massachusetts. 

For the game, the Celtics will be without one of their best players, as Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out.   

The 2018 NBA All-Star has missed each of the previous three games, so this will be his fourth straight out of the lineup.

Porzingis had spent part of two seasons with the Washington Wizards before getting traded to Boston over the offseason. 

He has been an excellent addition to the team, and is averaging 20.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 46 games.

The Celtics enter the evening as the first seed in the Eastern Conference (and the best team in the NBA) with a 51-14 record in 65 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and have gone 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Following the Suns, the Celtics will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C. 

As for the Suns, they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 38-27 record in 65 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games but most recently lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 117-111. 

Following the Celtics, the Suns will visit the Charlotte Hornets on Friday evening.
