Malcolm Brogdon's Current Injury Status For Celtics-Heat Game

Malcolm Brogdon remains listed as questionable for Game 6.

UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out.

On Saturday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Florida to face off against the Miami Heat for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

For the game, veteran guard Malcolm Brogdon remains listed as questionable on the injury report (as of 12:30 Eastern Time) due to a forearm injury.

Via Underdog NBA: "Malcolm Brogdon (forearm) questionable for Saturday."

The 2023 6th Man of The Year is in his first season playing for the Celtics and has been an excellent addition to the roster.

During the regular season, Brogdon averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting an incredible 48.4% from the field and 44.4% from the three-point range.

The Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference and have defeated the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers through the first two rounds.

However, they trail the Heat 3-2 in the series, so they will need a victory to force Game 7 back in Boston on Monday night.

After losing the first three games, the Celtics have done a good job of staying alive in each of the last two.

That said, no team has ever been able to overcome a 3-0 deficit in an NBA Playoff series.

Last year, the Celtics made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 and they have been to the Conference Finals five times in the previous seven seasons.

As for the Heat, they are the eighth seed but are in the Conference Finals for the second time in the last four seasons.
