Tyler Herro's Official Injury Status For Wizards-Heat Game

Tyler Herro is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Washington Wizards in Florida

For the game, the Heat will remain without one of their best players, as Tyler Herro has been ruled out.  

The former Kentucky star has missed each of the previous seven games, so this will be his eighth straight out of action.  

Via The Miami Heat on Saturday: "#WASvsMIA INJURY UPDATE: Tyler Herro (foot) and Kevin Love (heel) have both been ruled out of tomorrow’s game vs the Wizards."

Herro is having another productive season with averages of 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 39.9% from the three-point range in 36 games.   

The Heat are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-28 record in 63 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Heat lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 107-100. 

Following the Wizards, they will remain at home and host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday evening in Miami.  

As for the Wizards, they have had a tough season and are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 10-53 record in 63 games. 

They are 1-9 over their last ten games but most recently beat Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets by a score of 112-100.

Following the Heat, the Wizards play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee.
