3 Current NBA Players Reportedly Unfollow Ja Morant

According to the Twitter account @theNBAalert, three NBA players have unfollowed Ja Morant.

Ja Morant is one of the most notable players in the NBA.

The 23-year-old has made the All-Star Game in two of his first four seasons in the league and is coming off a year where he averaged 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field.

Recently, the former Murray State star has been in the news due to a viral social media clip where he was seen allegedly holding a gun.

During the regular season, Morant was suspended eight games by the NBA for a similar incident, and following the most recent development, the Memphis Grizzlies have suspended the superstar point guard "from all team activities."

On Monday, the Twitter account @theNBAalert (which tracks the social media activity of NBA players) reported that Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Dejounte Murray (Atlanta Hawks) and Jusuf Nurkić (Portland Trail Blazers) have all unfollowed Morant.

Morant has been silent on Twitter since the incident, as his last post was on May 13.

That said, he posted several things to Instagram last week, which raised a concern, and TMZ Sports reported that police checked on him at his home in Tennessee.

As for the Grizzlies, they are coming off another impressive regular season where they went 51-31 and finished as the second seed in the Western Conference.

However, they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs in six games.
