Austin Reaves' Shot Over Patrick Beverley In Lakers-Bulls Game Is Going Viral

Austin Reaves and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Chicago Bulls 121-110 on the road at the United Center in Illinois.

The matchup was their second in four days, as the two teams faced off in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (the Bulls won 118-108).

During Sunday's game, Patrick Beverley made the "too small" gesture to LeBron James, which went viral on social media.

In a similar spot on the floor, Austin Reaves hit a shot over Beverley (on Wednesday) and made the same gesture to Beverly.

Those gestures always get a great reaction from fans on social media.

Reaves finished the night with 19 points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal in 29 minutes of playing time (while shooting 7/8 from the field).

He has been an essential part of the Lakers' rotation this season, with averages of 12.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest while shooting 52.1% from the field.

The Lakers improved to 38-38 in 76 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and will play four more games on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers (before returning home to play the Phoenix Suns on April 7).

Prior to getting traded last month, Beverley had played the first 45 games of the 2022-23 season with the Lakers.

Meanwhile, Reaves is in his second season in the NBA after going undrafted out of Oklahoma in 2021.
