BREAKING: Key Player Ejected From Hornets-76ers Game

Brandon Miller was ejected from Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Charlotte Hornets are playing the Philadelphia 76ers in Pennsylvania. 

During the first half, Brandon Miller was ejected.  

The former Alabama star finished the game with six points, two rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 3/7 from the field and 0/2 from the three-point range in 15 minutes of playing time.

Miller came into the evening with averages of 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest while shooting 43.6% from the field and 36.8% from the three-point range. 

He was the second pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has been among the best rookies in the league. 

That said, the Hornets have dealt with a lot of injuries and have been among the worst teams in the league, with a 17-50 record in 67 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 2-8 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Phoenix Suns by a score of 107-96.

Following the 76ers, the Hornets will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Orlando Magic in Florida. 

As for the 76ers, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-30 record in 66 games. 

The have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following Charlotte, the 76ers will host the Miami Heat on Monday evening.
