BREAKING: San Antonio Spurs Reportedly Release 10-Year NBA Veteran

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Reggie Bullock and the San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a contract buyout.

Reggie Bullock is coming off a year where he appeared in 78 regular season games for the Dallas Mavericks

The former UNC star averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 40.9% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range.

This summer, Bullock was traded from the Mavs to the San Antonio Spurs.

However, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports that Bullock and the Spurs have agreed to a contract buyout.

Via Charania: "The San Antonio Spurs and veteran wing Reggie Bullock have agreed to a contract buyout, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Bullock is set to enter free agency where several championship contenders and playoff teams will pursue him."

In addition to the Mavs, Bullock has also played for the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.

Over ten seasons in the NBA, the 32-year-old has career averages of 7.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 42.5% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range in 512 regular season games.

He has also appeared in 27 NBA playoff games and helped the Mavs make the Western Conference Finals in 2022.

Since Bullock is a solid veteran and an excellent three-point shooter, he could be a good addition to many teams.

As for the Spurs, they are coming off a year where they were the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-60 record.

They missed the NBA playoffs for the fourth straight season.
