On Thursday night, the Boston Celtics blew out the Milwaukee Bucks 140-99 (on the road in Wisconsin).

Considering these are the two best teams in the Eastern Conference, the game had to be frustrating for the Bucks.

According to StatMuse, the Bucks had scored 100+ points in 33 straight games until Thursday's disappointing loss.

At the end of the game (less than 90 seconds left), Thanasis Antetokounmpo head-butted Blake Griffin and got ejected after the altercation.

The incident is gaining a lot of traction with fans on social media.

Griffin finished the night with four points and one assist in six minutes of playing time.

He is a six-time NBA All-Star, but at this stage of his career he is a role player.

Meanwhile, Thanasis is the brother of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and finished the game with one point and one assist in eight minutes.

The Celtics improved to 53-24 in 77 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are now just 2.0 games back of the Bucks (who are in first).

The Bucks have the best record in the NBA (55-22 in 77 games), and had their two-game winning streak snapped.

Last season, the Celtics made the NBA Finals for the first time since the 2010 season and defeated the Bucks in the second round of the NBA playoffs (in seven games).

There is an excellent chance that the two teams could end up facing off in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals.
