James Harden Made NBA History In Bulls-Clippers Game

James Harden made NBA history during Saturday's game.

On Saturday afternoon, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Chicago Bulls in California.   

The Clippers took over in the fourth quarter and won by a score of 112-102. 

James Harden had a good game with 14 points, 11 rebounds, ten assists and one steal while shooting 4/10 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time. 

His stat line also made NBA history.   

Via StatMuse: "James Harden is the 2nd player in NBA history to record a triple-double without attempting a two-pointer. 

The first was Steve Blake in 2014."

Harden is in his first season playing for Los Angeles, and is averaging 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 44.6% from the field and 40.8% from the three-point range in 57 games.  

The Clippers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-21 record in 62 games.  

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Following the Bulls, the Clippers will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they host Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks. 

At home, they are 22-8 in 30 games. 

As for the Bulls, they dropped to 31-33 in 64 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are 15-18 in 33 games on the road. 

Following the Clippers, the Bulls will host the Dallas Mavericks on Monday evening at the United Center.
