Jaylen Brown's Instagram Post After Celtics-Mavs Game

Jaylen Brown made a post to Instagram after Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Boston Celtics faced off against the Dallas Mavericks (in Texas).  

They won by a score of 119-110, and Jayson Tatum led the team with 39 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.  

Jaylen Brown also had a good game, putting up 34 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 13/22 from the field and 2/7 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.   

After the victory, the All-Star forward made a post to Instagram. 

Brown captioned his post: "Either you let people think for you or you think for yourself"

Brown is now averaging 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 35.8% from the three-point range in 41 games.  

He has helped the Celtics be the best team in the NBA, as they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-10 record in their first 44 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.  

Following the Mavs, the Celtics will face off against Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat on Thursday evening in Florida. 

On the road, they are 14-9 in the 23 games they have played away from Boston. 

Meanwhile, the Mavs are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-19 record in their first 43 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
