VIRAL: Joel Embiid Got Dunked On In Nets-76ers Game

Joel Embiid got dunked on during Monday's game.

On Monday night, Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers are hosting the Brooklyn Nets in Pennsylvania for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series.

The 76ers won the first game 121-101 on Saturday (also in Pennsylvania), so they can take a 2-0 lead with a victory on Monday.

During the first half, Cam Johnson exploded for 22 points on 9/13 shooting from the field, and in the second quarter, he had a gigantic dunk on Embiid.

The clip of the play is going viral on social media.

Embiid has been arguably the best player in the NBA this season and has an excellent chance to win his first MVP Award.

Therefore, it's not surprising that Johnson's dunk is getting so much attention from fans.

The former UNC star began the season with the Phoenix Suns but was traded to the Nets as part of the blockbuster deal that sent 13-time All-Star Kevin Durant to Phoenix.

He has been excellent during his brief tenure with the Nets and averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals per contest in 25 games with the team (he also shot 46.8% from the field and 37.2% from the three-point range).

The Nets finished the season as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and had a 45-37 record.

Meanwhile, the 76ers were one of the best teams in the NBA with a 54-28 record and are the third seed.

At the end of the first half, the Nets had a 49-44 lead.
