Kawhi Leonard's Status For Clippers-Grizzlies Game

Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers will be in Tennessee to face off with the Memphis Grizzlies.

For the game, they will be without their best player, as Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out due to personal reasons.

Underdog NBA: "Kawhi Leonard (personal) ruled out Wednesday."

The two-time NBA Champion is having another successful season with averages of 23.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest in 47 games.

Leonard is also shooting 51.3% from the field and 41.4% from the three-point range.

The Clippers come into the night as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 40-36 record in 76 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and 19-18 in the 37 games they have played on the road.

Currently, the Clippers are only a half-game back of the Phoenix Suns for the fourth seed (home-court advantage).

They have one of the most talented rosters in the league but are coming off a season where they dealt with injuries and finished as the eighth seed (and lost their two games in the play-in tournament).

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 48-27 record in 75 games.

They are 9-1 in their last ten games and in the middle of a seven-game winning streak.

At home, the Grizzlies have been sensational, going 33-5 in the 38 games they have hosted in Memphis.

Last season, they lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs to the Golden State Warriors.
