Kyrie Irving's Absurd Buzzer-Beater Went Viral In Nuggets-Mavs Game

Kyrie Irving made the game-winning shot.

On Sunday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Denver Nuggets in Texas.

The game was a thriller, and Kyrie Irving made a buzzer-beater to give the Mavs a 107-105 victory.       

With the score tied at 105-105, Irving drained a left-handed floater from behind the free-throw line as time expired.       

Irving finished the day with 24 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, three steals and one block while shooting 9/23 from the field and 4/11 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.  

He is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 25.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 49.0% from the field and 41.5% from the three-point range in 46 games.  

With the victory, the Mavs improved to 39-29 in 68 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference. 

They are now 21-15 in the 36 games they have hosted on their home floor in Dallas, Texas. 

Following the Nuggets, the Mavs will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. 

As for the Nuggets, they fell to 47-21 in 68 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference. 

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak, and they are now 20-15 in 35 games on the road. 

Following the Mavs, the Nuggets will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.
