On Monday evening, the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets faced off in Texas.

The game was extremely close, and with the score tied at 103-103, Jalen Brunson was called for a foul on Aaron Holiday right before the buzzer sounded (in the fourth quarter).

Holiday knocked down two free throws to give the Rockets a 105-103 victory.

Many fans on social media were upset about the call, and NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins voiced his opinion with a post on X.

Perkins wrote: "The officials just messed up a good a** basketball game. That was a BS call on Brunson at the end of the Knicks and Rockets game."

The Rockets also shot 21 more free throws than the Knicks (33-12).

With the loss, the Knicks dropped to 33-21 in their first 54 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

Following the Rockets, the Knicks will travel to Florida for a matchup with the Orlando Magic on Wednesday evening.

As for the Rockets, they were led by Dillon Brooks, who put up 23 points, five rebounds and one assist while shooting 6/7 from the three-point range.

They improved to 24-29 in 53 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference (they also snapped a four-game losing streak).

Following New York, the Rockets will travel to Tennessee for a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday evening.
