NBA Champion Makes Bold Claim About The Detroit Lions

Kyle Kuzma (Washington Wizards) sent out a post on X about the Detroit Lions.

On Thursday evening, the Detroit Lions visited the Green Bay Packers in Wisconsin.

The Lions got off to a fantastic start, taking a 27-3 lead into halftime.

They ended up winning the game by a score of 34-20, and David Montgomery had a fantastic night, rushing for 121 yards and three touchdowns (on 32 carries).

With the victory, the Lions are now an impressive 3-1 in their first four games and at the top of the NFC North division.

During the game, NBA star Kyle Kuzma (who is from Michigan) sent out a post on X with a bold take about the Lions.

His post had nearly 3,000 likes and over 275,000 impressions in less than 24 hours.

Kuzma wrote: "Best offense in the league @Lions"

The Lions haven't made the NFL Playoffs since 2016, but the franchise has been completely turned around under head coach Dan Campbell and quarterback Jared Goff.

Last season, the team went 9-8, and this year, there appears to be an excellent chance they could return to the playoffs.

As for Kuzma, he was initially the 27th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft after playing his college basketball for Utah.

He played the first four seasons of his pro career with the Los Angeles Lakers and helped them win the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat in 2020.

The 28-year-old has spent the previous two seasons with the Washington Wizards and is coming off a year where he averaged 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field in 64 games.
