Nikola Jokic's Dunk Went Viral In Celtics-Nuggets Game

Nikola Jokic had a big highlight during Thursday's game.

UPDATE: The Nuggets won by a score of 115-109, and Nikola Jokic finished with 32 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals. 

On Thursday evening, the Denver Nuggets are hosting the Boston Celtics in Colorado.   

During the first half, two-time MVP Nikola Jokic had a big highlight that got a lot of views on social media. 

Jokic backed down Kristaps Porzingis (who fell to the ground), pulled off a spin move and finished the play with a dunk.

Jokic is one of the most exciting players in the league.   

He entered the evening with averages of 25.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 57.9% from the field and 35.0% from the three-point range in 60 games. 

The Nuggets are also having another excellent season and are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 42-20 record in 62 games. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games but most recently lost to Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns (in overtime) by a score of 117-107. 

Jokic had 25 points, 16 rebounds and five assists while shooting 8/18 from the field and 4/7 from the three-point range in 44 minutes of playing time. 

Following their showdown with the Celtics, the Nuggets will host the Utah Jazz on Saturday evening in Colorado. 

As for the Celtics, they are the best team in the league with a 48-13 record in 61 games. 

They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games but most recently lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 105-104. 

Following the Nuggets, the Celtics will visit the Suns on Saturday evening in Arizona.
