Nikola Jokic Made NBA History In Raptors-Nuggets Game

Nikola Jokic made NBA history during Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Toronto Raptors in Colorado.

The Nuggets overcame a 22-point deficit and won the game by a score of 125-119.

Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic led the way with 35 points, 17 rebounds, 12 assists, six steals and two blocks while shooting 14/26 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.

His stat line also made NBA history.

Jokic is having a sensational season and is averaging 26.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 58.2% from the field and 34.9% from the three-point range in 63 games.  

With the victory, the Nuggets improved to a 45-20 record in 65 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference.  

They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

At home, the Nuggets are 27-6 in 33 games.  

Following the Raptors, they will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Miami Heat in Florida. 

As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-42 record in 65 games.  

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
