Nikola Jokic Moved Ahead Of Larry Bird On All-Time NBA List

Nikola Jokic moved up on the NBA's all-time three-pointers list.

UPDATE: The Nuggets won by a score of 127-112, and Nikola Jokic had 29 points, 15 rebounds, 14 assists, two steals and one block. 

On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets are playing the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.    

Nikola Jokic had an excellent first half and put up 13 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 5/7 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in 20 minutes of playing time.  

With his three-pointer, the two-time MVP moved ahead of Hall of Famer Larry Bird (649) and Chris Duhon (649) and tied Landry Shamet (650) for 301st on the NBA's all-time three-pointers list

Jokic is having another sensational season with averages of 26.0 points, 12.1 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 58.2% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range in 54 games. 

The Nuggets are coming off a 130-110 victory over the Washington Wizards, and he was brilliant. 

In only 31 minutes of playing time, Jokic had 21 points, 19 rebounds, 15 assists and one steal while shooting a perfect 10/10 from the field. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-19 record in 56 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and 15-14 in the 29 games they have played on the road. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Nuggets will travel to San Francisco for a showdown with Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Sunday at the Chase Center. 

Jokic is in his ninth season in the league and is coming off a year where he led the Nuggets to the 2023 NBA Championship.
