Patrick Beverley's Status For Nets-Bulls Game

Patrick Beverley will be available for Friday's game.

On Friday night, the Chicago Bulls are hosting the Brooklyn Nets at the United Center in Illinois.

For the game, they will have their new point guard available, as Patrick Beverley will make his Bulls debut.

Underdog NBA: "Status alert: Patrick Beverley available to make Bulls debut Friday."

The 34-year-old was on the Los Angeles Lakers but got sent to the Orlando Magic on the day of the trading deadline.

With the Magic in rebuilding mode, they agreed to a contract buyout with Beverley, which allowed him to sign with any team in the league.

He is currently averaging 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.

Beverley has never won an NBA Championship or made the All-Star Game but has always impacted winning at a high level.

Last season, he helped the Minnesota Timberwolves make the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Out of the last ten seasons, Beverley has played in the playoffs eight times.

The Bulls will be his sixth team, as he has also had stints with the Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Lakers and Timberwolves.

Beverley is from Chicago, which makes the addition even more exciting.

Right now, the Bulls are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-33 record in 59 games.

They are in the middle of a six-game losing streak and are 3-7 in their last ten games.

At home, the Bulls have been solid, going 16-13 in the 29 games they have hosted at the United Center in Chicago.
