Steph Curry's Heartfelt Instagram Post To Carmelo Anthony

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry posted a message on Instagram to NBA legend Carmelo Anthony.

On Monday, NBA legend Carmelo Anthony officially announced his retirement after 19 seasons (the ten-time All-Star sent out a tweet with a video)

Many players have posted well wishes for the future Hall of Famer on social media, as he is one of the greatest (and most popular) athletes of all time.

On Tuesday, two-time MVP Steph Curry made a post to his Instagram story with a message for Anthony.

Curry via the Instagram story: "A little late but congrats @carmeloanthony on an amazing carer and inspiring elevated footwork and killer instinct from the jump! Enjoy the extra añejo to the fullest."

Anthony played for the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers.

He was already in his seventh season in the league when Curry was a rookie.

In addition, Anthony spent part of seven seasons with the Knicks, so the two were in different conferences for a significant amount of time.

The two superstars faced off 20 times (only in the regular season) and Anthony went 11-9 in those battles.

While Anthony never had a lot of Playoff success (one trip to the Conference Finals), he is one of the greatest scorers to ever play in the NBA.

The former Syracuse star is ninth on the all-time scoring list (28,289), and averaged over 25 points per game in a season seven different times.

As for Curry, he is a four-time NBA Champion and the Warriors were eliminated by the Lakers in the second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
