On Saturday night of NBA All-Star weekend, the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest were held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Three-Point Contest featured Jayson Tatum, Kevin Huerter, Damian Lillard, Tyrese Haliburton, Julius Randle, Buddy Hield, Tyler Herro and Lauri Markkanen.

Lillard won the contest, beating Haliburton and Hield in the final round.

Following the victory, the best three-point shooter of all-time (Steph Curry) sent out a tweet to Lillard.

Curry tweeted: "yessir get you one @Dame_Lillard congrats!!! Hahaha he said he retiring from it with the trophy in the hand 😂 😂 I feel you"

Curry has made the most three-pointers in NBA history, and he won the three-point contest two different times (2015 and 2021).

His post already has over 25,000 likes (and 740,000 impressions) in less than one hour.

This was the third time that Lillard had been in the competition, but his first time winning.

He is one of the best three-point shooters in the league and is currently shooting 37.2% from deep (and making 4.2 per game).

In addition, Lillard is sixth on the all-time three-pointers list, so he will also go down as one of the best shooters ever.

His victory is in even more special, because he had been wearing a Weber State jersey (his alma mater).

As for the Portland Trail Blazers, they are 28-30 in 58 games, which has them tied for the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

Lillard is averaging an outstanding 31.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per contest.
