Victor Wembanyama's Alley-Oop Dunk Went Viral In Spurs-Raptors Game

Victor Wembanyama had an exciting highlight during Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the San Antonio Spurs are playing the Toronto Raptors in Canada.     

During the game, star rookie Victor Wembanyama had a big highlight that got a lot of attention on social media.

Wembanyama is only playing in his 48th NBA game, but he has already become one of the most exciting players in the league.   

The 20-year-old came into the night with averages of 20.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.0 blocks per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 31.6% from the three-point range.   

Despite his success, the Spurs are a franchise that is in rebuilding mode and has missed the NBA playoffs in each of the previous four seasons.  

Right now, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with a 10-43 record in 53 games. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a seven-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Spurs lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 123-103 at Barclays Center in New York. 

Following Toronto, they will visit the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday evening. 

As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 19-34 record in 53 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and coming off a 119-95 loss to Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

Following the Spurs, the Raptors will host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday evening.
