Zion Williamson's Block Went Viral In Pelicans-Hawks Game

Zion Williamson had a big block during Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans played the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia. 

The Pelicans won by a score of 116-103, and Trey Murphy III led the way with 28 points, seven rebounds and two assists. 

Two-time NBA All-Star Zion Williamson also had a good game and put up 27 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two blocks while shooting 10/14 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time.   

During the game, the former Duke star had a huge block that got a lot of views on social media.   

Williamson is having an extremely productive season and is averaging 22.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest while shooting 57.7% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point range in 53 games.  

With the victory, the Pelicans improved to 39-25 in 64 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Hawks, the Pelicans will now return home to host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday evening in New Orleans. 

As for the Hawks, they dropped to 29-35 in 64 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and the loss snapped a three-game winning streak. 

Following the Pelicans, the Hawks will travel to Oregon to face off against Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday evening.
