Zion Williamson's Enormous Block Went Viral In Pelicans-76ers Game

Zion Williamson had a huge block during Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers in Pennsylvania.  

The Pelicans dominated for most of the night and won by a score of 103-95. 

Two-time NBA All-Star Zion Williamson led the way with 23 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks while shooting 7/14 from the field in 35 minutes of playing time.    

During the game, Williamson had an excellent block that got a lot of views on social media.    

Kelly Oubre Jr. went up for a finish at the rim and Williamson rejected his shot which led to a fast break for the Pelicans. 

Williamson is having a productive season with averages of 22.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest while shooting 57.5% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point range in 52 games.  

With the victory, the Pelicans improved to 38-25 in 63 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and 20-13 in the 33 games they have played on the road.  

Following the 76ers, the Pelicans will now visit the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday evening at State Farm Arena in Georgia. 

As for the 76ers, they dropped to 35-28 in 63 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and 19-14 in 33 games at home. 

Following the Pelicans, the 76ers will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit the New York Knicks.
