A Trade The Warriors And Mavs Should Consider

I believe the Golden State Warriors should try to trade for Seth Curry (Dallas Mavericks).

The Golden State Warriors have gotten off to a tough start to the new season and are 7-9 in their first 16 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They are also 2-8 in their previous ten games and 2-6 in eight games on the road.

I believe the Warriors need to add a boost to their bench and should try to acquire Seth Curry from the Dallas Mavericks

Why?

Curry has played in 11 games for the Mavs this season and is coming off a year where he averaged 9.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 40.5% from the three-point range in 61 games for the Brooklyn Nets.

For the Warriors, Curry would be a fantastic addition because he is an elite three-point shooter (and is Steph's brother).

Adding the 33-year-old to their bench would potentially be a season-changing move.

For his career, the ten-year NBA veteran shoots 47.5% from the field and 43.9% from the three-point range.

I believe the Warriors should offer the Mavs NBA Champion Cory Joseph and a draft pick.

Joseph is in his first season with Golden State and is coming off a year where he averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest while shooting 42.7% from the field and 38.9% from the three-point range in 62 games for the Detroit Pistons.

The Mavs do not need Curry because they already have Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jaden Hardy.

Therefore, getting Joseph and a draft pick would be a good return.
