More than Equal is a venture focused on fostering female talent in Formula 1 racing. With the vision of identifying and nurturing the future female F1 champion, the program is continuing the push for increased inclusivity in a traditionally male-dominated sport.

Applications are now open for this path-breaking program, offering a unique opportunity for female drivers to showcase their talent and undergo professional development. The selection process, a collaboration with the tech-driven Smedley Group, ensures a fair and data-backed evaluation, focusing on the applicants' racing performance, experience, and overall potential.

Alison Donnelly, CEO of More than Equal, who emphasises the long absence of women in competitive F1 racing and the rarity of female participation at the top tiers of motorsport. She points out the need for a different approach to create lasting change in this landscape.

“No woman has raced competitively in Formula 1 in close to 50 years.

“Very few women are racing at the elite level of any motorsport series currently.

“In order to enact lasting structural change, we need to do things differently. For us, that means investing in and developing female drivers early in their careers, and we are thrilled to be taking the first steps towards that by launching our female-dedicated programme in 2024.”

Tom Stanton, tasked with leading this driver development program, expresses his excitement about shaping the future of female drivers in collaboration with Smedley Group and Hintsa Performance.

“Our programme is designed to support and enhance the development of female drivers in three key areas: as a driver, as an athlete and as a person.

“I’m excited to be working with Smedley Group and Hintsa Performance to maximise the potential of talented drivers, making them the winners of the future.”
