F1 News: AlphaTauri Reveals Upcoming Documentary Featuring Yuki Tsunoda And Pierre Gasly

Scuderia AlphaTauri's official documentary 'Whatever it Takes' could end up on the 'must watch' list for most Formula 1 fans.

Speaking of documentaries and movies, Formula 1 has been taking the entertainment route quite seriously to reach the masses globally. Not only the sport as a whole, but teams such as Scuderia AlphaTauri have also made their own documentary called 'Whatever it Takes.'

The documentary that features F1 drivers Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will have its world premiere in Venice on 6 September. A co-production between Scuderia AlphaTauri and Digital Lighthouse, the documentary aims to highlight the history of AlphaTauri when Red Bull acquired the team and its Faenza factory, evolving into Scuderia Toro Rosso and eventually Scuderia AlphaTauri.

If you think the documentary is just going to be all about race drivers and former team principals talking about their careers at AlphaTauri and the other typical boring stuff, then you might be in for a surprise. At least by the looks of the trailer which also sheds light on the intricacies of the process that goes into making a masterpiece- the Formula 1 car.

The laboratory setup with the car being tested makes it look all the more dramatic. The best part for F1 fans is that the documentary can be viewed on the Scuderia AlphaTauri YouTube channel after the world premiere.

Here's what the official website says about the documentary:

"Our story as it’s never been told before. The film, Whatever it Takes – the Race before the Races, will have its world premiere on 6 September in Venice.

"Whatever it Takes: a co-production between Scuderia AlphaTauri and Digital Lighthouse.
The definitive documentary starts off with a look at the team as it tackled the past two Formula 1 seasons, as well as looking back at its origins, its successes and its drivers past and present. The story goes back almost 20 years to the time when Red Bull acquired the little Minardi team and its Faenza factory. It goes on to cover the Scuderia Toro Rosso years and the current Scuderia AlphaTauri era, as recalled by the key players, starting with team principal Franz Tost.

"From the track to the big screen.
A few days after the 2023 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, the spotlight will therefore shift to the magical city of Venice, which will be hosting the Venice International Film Festival around that time. The premiere of Whatever it Takes on 6 September will be an event aimed at team guests and the specialist racing media, after which the film will be free to view for everyone on the Scuderia AlphaTauri YouTube official channel."
