F1 News: Aston Martin Tease DB12 Reveal In Collaboration With Fernando Alonso

Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso have teased the release of the DB12.

Aston Martin has taken to social media to tease an announcement for 11:01 pm BST tonight, which looks to be the reveal of the DB12 in collaboration with Fernando Alonso.

Alonso joined the Aston Martin F1 team for the 2023 season and has an incredible start to the season surprising fans with four third-place finishes out of the five races so far. F1 fans have enjoyed seeing the British manufacturer be in a competitive position against Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes.

Along with a video of the Spanish driver and close-up, sweeping shots of an Aston Martin in the iconic racing green, is the caption:

"11:01pm BST today. Grand is not enough. @alo_oficial #AstonMartin #GrandIsNotEnough #ICONDRIVEN"

The video features the two-time champion saying to the camera:

"Being good, is not enough. In todays competitive landscape, you've got to be fierce."

"Grand Is Not Enough" is then spread across the screen in bold letters followed by, "Launching at 11.01 pm".

Yesterday, the team posted another teaser video going through the DB1, 2, 3, 4, and so on before hesitating at 12, with quick silhouette shots of the front and side of the DB12.

"Grand is not enough. Tomorrow, we see what comes next. Tomorrow evening we welcome the next in line to the bloodline."

Fans have been sharing their excitement for the release in the comments. One fan in particular suggested a DB14 in the future with Alonso, as that is the Spanish driver's racing number. They commented:

"I look forward to seeing the next car soon p.s. will there be a DB14 for @alo_oficial one day? @AstonMartinF1"
