Lance Stroll is out of the Singapore Grand Prix qualifying session after suffering from a horrific crash at the final turn.

The Canadian driver seemed to lose control as he went over the kerb on his push lap. Thankfully, he informed the team over the radio fairly quickly that he was okay and we later saw him able to get out of the car and walk away.

This puts the Aston Martin driver in twentieth position for the Singapore Grand Prix tomorrow and leaves the team relying on Fernando Alonso for the remainder of qualifying. This also hindered other drivers such as Oscar Piastri who had to abort their flying laps leaving them eliminated from Q1.

The British team will now have to get on with repairing Stroll's AMR23 ahead of the race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit tomorrow. However, it was clear an incredible amount of damage was sustained and Stroll seemed lucky to be able to walk away from it.
