F1 News: Williams Confirms Gulf As Official Partner For 2023 Season
Williams F1 has confirmed that Gulf is the new official partner for the 2023 season. After weeks of rumours, this has been confirmed on their Instagram.
Decal Spotters saw that Williams had created a sponsorship page for Gulf ahead of the official reveal so we knew it was likely coming, but confirmation from the team is huge for fans of the sport. This also comes after Gulf hinting at a new sponsorship months ago.
Gulf used to sponsor McLaren for the 2020 and 2021 F1 seasons, but now that the partnership has ended, Williams Racing is now the favoured option for the oil company.
This could bring a much-needed financial boost to the team and improve their position in the grid, adding excitement to the F1 season. The return of the Gulf brand and the potential of American driver Logan Sargeant adds to a promising future for F1.
