Fernando Alonso Fuels Taylor Swift Dating Rumours With Hilarious TikTok Video
Two-time F1 champion Fernando Alonso has found himself trending on Twitter again. This time, he has leant into the wild rumours that he is dating Taylor Swift with a hilarious new TikTok video.
It is unclear where the rumours started, but there is zero evidence to back the speculation up and now the Spanish driver has taken to social media to add fuel to the fire.
In the video, Alonso sits down, looks up, and winks as Taylor Swift's song 'Karma' plays. Fans have been reacting to the funny moment with one fan branding the driver a "menace".
Tom Bellingham from P1 With Matt & Tommy shared the video to Twitter, writing:
"Fernando posting a TikTok listening to Taylor Swift. He knows"
Another fan responded, writing:
"The fella was born to be a menace."
Along with the Taylor Swift song, Alonso adds the caption "Race week era" followed by a wink emoji, a reference to Swift's Eras tour which she is currently on and the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Another Twitter user shared the video, commenting:
"Fernando Alonso hilariously posts a TikTok using Taylor’s “Karma” in response to the rumors that they’re dating which came from his fans just poking fun at the situation at hand"
Whilst fans have been enjoying the distraction during the four week break in April, the F1 world is gearing up for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this weekend, followed by the Miami Grand Prix on 5-7 May.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will host the first sprint race of the season, which is likely to have a new format to last year. However, this will not be confirmed until later this week.
