Lando Norris has spoken about losing Daniel Ricciardo as a teammate ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The bromance between Norris and Ricciardo was a highlight of the 2021 and 2022 Formula 1 seasons, with the pair bringing a breath of fresh air to the paddock. But sadly, their partnership at McLaren was short-lived, and the Aussie driver has now moved on to Red Bull.

So, what does Norris have to say about his former teammate? Well, he recently opened up during a stream, and his comments are sure to tug at your heartstrings.

"I miss Daniel," Norris said, before adding: "Of course, I miss him."

It's clear that Norris and Ricciardo had a genuine friendship, and the Brit's comments show that he's still feeling the loss. And who can blame him? After all, the two drivers were hilarious together, with their humour bouncing off each other behind the scenes.

It's a shame that we didn't get to see more of their dynamic on track, as the partnership between Ricciardo and McLaren just didn't work out. But it's heartwarming to know that the friendship they built is still going strong.

As for Ricciardo, he's now a reserve driver for Red Bull, a team he has a strong history with. And while it's sad to see him leave McLaren and a permanent seat in the sport, we can't wait to see what he'll do next.

Hopefully we will see the Australian driver back on the track soon.
