Four More Players Sign with UFL, Including QB Quinten Dormady

The UFL signed four players to the Arlington Renegades and San Antonio Brahmas, including quarterback Quinten Dormady on Thursday night.

A shorter list of players has been signed by the UFL, with four players agreeing to contracts for the 2024 season on Thursday. The Arlington Renegades are bringing back defensive lineman Doug Costin. The San Antonio Brahmas signed quarterback Quinten Dormady, offensive lineman Haggai Chisom Ndubuisi and wide receiver T.J. Vasher.

Costin spent last season with the Renegades as part of their XFL championship run, notching two tackles on the year. He also played for the USFL’s Birmingham Stallions in 2022, totaling nine tackles and a half of a sack on the year. Costin played in the NFL for four different teams, with his most recent stop with the Las Vegas Raiders during training camp in August.

Dormady is back after playing with the Orlando Guardians last season, which was filled with controversy after being falsely accused of giving plays away to another XFL team. He ended up starting after the investigation, finishing the season with 1,507 passing yards and 10 touchdowns to five interceptions. His other professional football stint with in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes.

Ndubuisi is a new signing for the Brahmas coming off NFL stints with the Arizona Cardinals in 2022 and Denver Broncos in 2023. He has a unique story coming from Nigeria and not having played American football before. He has been a part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program since 2022. It was YouTube that got him interested, which resulted in him training before joining the NFL program.

Vasher returns to San Antonio after playing nine games with the Brahmas last year. He finished the season with 16 receptions for 173 yards and two scores. His previous NFL stop was with the Dallas Cowboys in 2022.

Since the UFL Dispersal Drafts, 188 players have signed contracts with UFL teams with training camp set to start towards the end of February.
