Angels Outfielder Scratched From Lineup Prior to Game Against Baltimore

In this story:

As the Los Angeles Angels got set for their third game of the season against the Baltimore Orioles, outfielder Mickey Moniak was scratched from the lineup due to illness. Outfielder Jo Adell takes his place in the outfield for the game.

Moniak has taken two at-bats so far this season but has yet to register a hit. He was supposed to get the start today, but he will need to wait until he is feeling a little better first.

Last season, Moniak had a career year. He had 14 home runs with 45 runs batted in over 85 games played. The Angels were looking forward to him continuing to grow his game this year, but it's been a slow start.

So far, the Angels have dropped their first two games. But today is a new opportunity to get their first win of the new season.
