Angels Notes: Minasian Has His Manager But is it Time to Say So Long to Shohei?

The Angels infield coach is attracting some attention for a potential managerial role.

After firing manager Phil Nevin, the Angels are on the hunt for a new manager.

Reportedly, general manager Perry Minasian has his candidate in mind, but owner Arte Moreno is keeping his options open. Amidst the turmoil in Anaheim, current infield coach Benji Gil could be snagged by another team for a managerial position.

In other news, an injured Angels pitcher was picked up by the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Halos are losing hope of signing free agent Shohei Ohtani.
