Angels vs. Seattle Mariners: Lineups, How to Watch, Predictions, and More

José Soriano continues his bid for a starting rotation spot.

José Soriano is continuing his unlikely bid for a place in the Angels' starting rotation today against the Seattle Mariners. So far, it hasn't gone well.

The right-hander from Santo Domingo has pitched five innings across two starts and allowed six runs, all earned. Today marks his third Cactus League start, and his first against the Mariners, as the Angels look to determine whether his future is in the rotation or the bullpen.

His greatest opponent, however, might not be the Seattle Mariners. It might be the weather.

How to Watch

The game will be televised on Bally Sports West and air on the radio on KLAA (830-AM)

The game will be cancelled due to rain. Hope you brought your umbrella.

Among the pitchers scheduled to throw out of the bullpen for the Angels today are non-roster invitees Hunter Strickland and Guillo Zuñiga. Strickland, 35, is scheduled to make his seventh appearance in a strong bid (1.42 ERA, .174 opponents' batting average) to make the Opening Day roster. Zuñiga (9.00 ERA, .345 opponents' average) has struggled in his six appearances.
