Houston Astros Spring Training Schedule With Game Times

The Houston Astros are set to host a month's worth of games at their spring training facility in West Palm Beach.

The Houston Astros are set to open their spring training schedule on Feb. 24 when they face the Washington Nationals at their shared facility, The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.

The Astros will hope the home portion of their spring training schedule the next day, Feb. 25, when they host St. Louis as part of a split-squad game. The rest of the Astros will be in Port St. Lucie to face the New York Mets.

Astros pitchers and catchers will report to the team’s spring training facility in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Feb. 14. The first full workout will be on Feb. 20.

The Astros are coming off a 90-win season in 2023, one that saw them draw into a tie with the Texas Rangers for first place in the American League West on the final day of the regular season. With that, the Astros claimed the No. 2 seed in the AL playoffs.

After the Astros beat the Minnesota Twins in the AL Division Playoffs, the Astros lost to the Rangers in seven games in the AL Championship Series.

After the season, manager Dusty Baker retired and the Astros elevated his bench coach, Joe Espada, into Baker’s spot. He’ll embark on his first season as an MLB manager with a host of veteran players, including second baseman Jose Altuve and third baseman Alex Bregman, both of whom are entering the final year of their current contracts.

The Astros open the regular season at home against the New York Yankees on March 28 at Minute Maid Park.
